The European Union of Coptic Organisations for Human Rights (EUCOHR) strongly condemns the vicious and barbaric method used by Israeli army in arresting peaceful protesting Coptic monks.

European Union of Coptic Organisations for Human Rights demands the Israeli government to immiediatly return the Coptic monastery to the Coptic church according to the Israeli high court ruling of 1971.

The European Union of Coptic Organisations for Human Rights vows that it will not remain silent on these atrocities and will submit a memorandum to the European Parliament and all foreign ministers of the Western World.

European Union of Coptic Organisations for Human Rights calls upon all other organizations in America, Canada, Australia and the rest of the world to issue statements to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and embassies of Israel in the countries where they live now until monastery is returned to the Coptic Church.

The Union also thanks the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its role towards its Egyptian citizens outside the territories.
