Dr Adel Fawzi and Mr Peter Ezzat State Security Attorney hearing News update
In a telephone call to Dr Adel Fawzi and Mr Peter Ezzat Lawyer Ramses El-Nagar, first day State Security attorney hearing at the State Security building in Cairo today ended with the lawyers demonstrating that:
1-The fire arm in Dr Adel Fawzi possession is legally licensed but over due for renewal, penalty for delay is 10 Egyptian Pound if applicable.
2- The Lawyers vigorously rebutted the police claim of causing public agitation.
3- The Book “Persecuted” has never been printed or distribution by Dr Adel Fawzi or and Mr Peter Ezzat, to the contrary, the printed copy was done by the Security Service Police, also Dr Adel Fawzi and Mr Peter Ezzat have never distributed altered versions of the Quran.
4-There was no records Dr Adel Fawzi nor and Mr Peter Ezzat made to cause public agitation.
The hearing was adjourned to 4th September 2007, it is hoped Dr Adel Fawzi and Mr Peter Ezzat will be set free on that date, Lawyer Ramses El-Nagar said.
