Trojan Horse Report Finds 'Determined Effort' To Implement Radical Islam In School

A report into the so-called Trojan Horse plot to takeover schools in Birmingham has found a "determined effort" to implement radical Islam. The comments came from the newly appointed Education Secretary Nicky Morgan, who made a statement on the subject in the House of Commons today.

The review was ordered by the Morgan's predecessor Michael Gove, following reports that as many as twenty-five Birmingham schools had been the subject of takeovers. In each case, the governing bodies were infiltrated by radicals who then set about pushing out moderate teachers and implementing radical Islam.

Today's report makes clear that the allegations of attempted takeovers were true, and that some schools had even faked lessons to hide that fact from inspectors. The report's author, Peter Clarke, also publicly accused Birmingham City Council of having been aware of the plot. He told the BBC: "It's quite clear that they at least knew or suspected that these sort of things were happening for some considerable period of time, but didn't do enough to stop it."

This follows on from a report published on Friday that was commissioned Birmingham City Council. It claimed that the council was complicit in the takeovers because it was too willing to pay off head teachers who were pushed out of schools by radicals. The report also found that they were unwilling to take action for fear of being accused of Islamophobia.

In her statement Nicky Morgan told the House of Commons: "Teachers have said they fear children are learning to be intolerant of difference and diversity.

"Instead of enjoying a broadening and enriching experience in school, young people are having their horizons narrowed and are being denied the opportunity to flourish in a modern multicultural Britain.

"There has been no evidence of direct radicalisation or violent extremism. But there is a clear account in the report of people in positions of influence in these schools, with a restricted and narrow interpretation of their faith, who have not promoted fundamental British values and who have failed to challenge the extremist views of others."

The Education Secretary confirmed that a number of schools would now get entirely new management teams. These include Oldknow Academy and Park View School, both of which are now notorious for their association with the Trojan Horse plot.

Morgan also plans to appoint a new Education Commissioner in Birmingham to ensure these problems do not arise again.

This is in addition to the 'no-notice inspections' that are now being implemented, in which the Schools Inspector (OFSTED) will no longer warn schools that they are being visited. The schools had previously the warning period to fabricate lessons in order to create the appearance that they were complying with the rules.

Changes to education in Birmingham have come too late for hundreds, perhaps even thousands of children who were forced to go through the old regime due to political correctness. The reports into the Trojan Horse plot make it clear that these problems had been ignored for a decade.

In that time it is unclear how many young people had their education ruined. It is also unclear what other types of infiltration radical Muslims have undertaken in the British public sector.

Earlier today Breitbart London reported on one of the Trojan Horse plotters, who had been secretly filmed calling for the jailing of adulterers. He also said that white children were "lazy" and women were "emotionally weaker" than men.
