Saudi Arabia's Export Of Radical Islam - Part Three
On Monday, January 15, UK television aired a documentary on Channel Four, entitled "Undercover Mosques". This program has caused something of a seismic shock, with reactions to its broadcast being felt in Canada, Pakistan and Israel. It has also led to government reaction in Australia.
I have uploaded a small QuickTime version of the documentary, which can be accessed here. It is 106 mb in size. Alternatively, versions can be found on HotAir and YouTube and HERE (Flash Player required). The documentary needs to be seen in its entirety.
Saudi Arabia's influence in establishing mosques around the world has been condoned by the House of Saud. In 1963, Belgium had a small Muslim population, and in a small rented building in a Brussels suburb, the Islamic Center of Belgium (CIB) began its life.
Over the last week, several items in the world news have highlighted the problem of Saudi Arabia, a supposed ally in the War on Terror, funding mosques which promote the same extremism and calls for jihad which create terror. There is a certain hypocrisy about the Saudis exporting any form of Islam abroad, as the undemocratic kingdom prohibits any symbols of other faiths from being imported. Crucifixes, Bibles are forbidden.

The announcement raises questions as to its real objective, as most of the suspects were know for years by the Saudi government as political dissidents. Some were previously detained.
