من هو يسوع المسيح الذى يحتفل العالم فى هذه الايام بعيد ميلاده؟ من ما كتب عنه فى الكتاب المقدس نعلم انه دخل الى عالمنا من باب لم يسبقه اليه انسان. ولد بدون زرع بشر من عذراء بسيطة متواضعة اسمها مريم، ونسب لنجار فقير اسمه يوسف. فى يوم مولده لم يعيره البشر اعتبارا ولكن الحيوان رحب به وقدم له مذودا للبقر ليولد فيه (لوقا 2: 7). اما السماء فكانت تعرف قدر هذا الزائر السماوى العظيم الذى جاء الى أرضنا فى اكبر حدث عرفه التاريخ فارسلت جوقة من الملائكة تقدم له التحية اللائقة بجلاله وهى تسبح الله قائلة "المجد لله فى الأعالى وعلى الأرض السلام وبالناس المسرة".(لوقا 2: 14).

Egypt's Minya Governorate region erupted in violence on November 25th after rumours spread that a young, barely literate Christian man named Girgis Sameeh posted a message on Facebook that was considered insulting to Islam. In al-Barsha, Girgis' hometown, hundreds of Muslims attacked the homes of Coptic Christians, also looting and destroying local businesses. The fury of the mob spread to the church of Abou Sefin, where the congregation was celebrating the beginning of a fast for the Advent season.

In a new escalation of the unprecedented crackdown against the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, security forces arrested Gasser Abdel Razek, Executive Director of EIPR, from his home in Maadi and took him to an undisclosed location.
Security forces in the afternoon of Wednesday, 18 November, also arrested Karim Ennarah, EIPR’s Criminal Justice Unit Director, in Dahab, South Sinai, where he was on a short vacation. The arrest took place one day after security forces went to his home in Cairo in his absence. After being questioned at a State Security premise outside Cairo, and after 24 hours had passed, Karim appeared this afternoon on Thursday 19 November before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in Cairo.

accused of spreading "Quranism" and the end to the prosecution of people with different religious affiliations
EIPR (17.11.2020) - https://bit.ly/3pUoZG9 - The Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR) called for the release of Reda Abdel Rahman, a teacher at the al-Azhar Institute in Kafr Saqr, Sharqia Governorate, and the dropping of the charges against him and others for publishing what is known as Quranism. Sources from Abdel Rahman's family said that on August 22, 2020, security forces arrested him and seven other relatives, all of them belonging to the family of Ahmed Sobhi Mansour, a former professor at al-Azhar University and a thinker known for adopting the doctrine of Quranism, and the sources added that the security forces asked them questions related to their relationship with Ahmed Sobhi Mansour and the fact that they adopted the doctrine of the Quranists, and released all of them except for Reda Abdel Rahman, who continued to be held in the National Security headquarters in Kafr Saqr.
Punjab, Christian mother and son, killed by Muslim neighbours in quarrel

The woman and her 25-year-old son were killed in front of their home. Nobody in the village helped them. For human rights activists, the fact is "a huge example of intolerance and hatred that spreads against Christians", also nourished in schools. Gujranwala (AsiaNews) - On November 9, Yasmeen and her only son, Usman Masih, 25 (photo 2), were shot dead by two of their Muslim neighbours, Hassan Butt (photo 3) and Khizer Butt. At first, some media reported that the killing was due to a case of blasphemy, but later it emerged that the reason was more trivial: a heated discussion between two women, Yasmeen and the mother of the two killers, Ishrat Bibi (photo 4).
