The Israeli Army and US DoD Killed My Son
by William A. Hanna, Ph.D.EE

Dear All:

On Sunday, May 2nd 2010, My dearest – My Oldest son Jimmy (Mr. Engineer
James William Hanna) committed suicide. He was diagnosed with Bipolar
(Manic-depressive) Mental Illness 2 Years ago. One will ask why. God and Jimmy only know the real reason, but I know that it was the 8th Anniversary of his arrest in Israel and the humiliation he suffered and could be attributed as the cause for all his following suffering! For traveling to Israel on April 28th with a peace group to render humanitarian aid to the Palestinians under siege in Bethlehem for 60 days under the oppressive rule of the government of Israel.

He also
went with the group to Ram-allah to offer similar aid to those that
were under siege with Yassir Arafat in the presidential compound in
Ram-allah. See.

After the Cadence Corp./Munich Tragedy in his life. He came to St.
Louis, Missouri in 2003. He applied for work as Computers Engineer and
was accepted to work at Boeing in St. Louis where he was an Intern in
His Junior year and was offered a job from Boeing immediately after his
graduation from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1999.

After 3 years working for Boeing, the Industrial Security
Administration (INS) refused to issue a security clearance for jimmy
without reason. Under the Freedom of Information Act he was able to
obtain a letter stating only that there is an incident in his record
that prevents issuing a security clearance. He was Black Listed by our
government who is supposed to be fair and just without the dignity of
an investigation. Guilty as charged without a fair trial or even a two
sided investigation.

Jimmy resigned from Boeing in 2009 because he could not work for Boeing
anymore. He tried to find professional work but all the doors were
closed in his face.

In 2009, Jimmy became physically and mentally ill. He continued trying
to find professional up to the last week in his life. He was offered
none. He was under professional treatment for both his physical and
mental illnesses by the best professional in St. Louis.

On Sunday, May 2nd (the 8th Anniversary of his unjust imprisonment in
Israel). Jimmy sat down in the basement of our house, I believe between
10:00 AM and Noon because his mom and I were in Church during that time
and he was supposed to join us in Church during that period. Instead,
he pull a brand new 9MM pistol and shot himself in the head and
slumbered peacefully on his favorite couch with his head laying on his
favorite foam bellow. When his mom arrived at our home around 12:30 PM
ahead of me because he was not answering his cell phone calls, she
found him already dead.

Jimmy was born Oct 17, 1977 in Loveland, Colorado USA. He was the most
precious Jewel I had. He suffered unnecessarily for 8 years because of
cruel and unfair world we live in since 911, and his and my biggest
disappointment is the failure of justice in the Land of the Free and
the Home of the Brave. He was both and even more. Jimmy was the most
honest and most brave man I know. We are Christians for crying out
loud. Our Coptic people suffer persecution since Islam invaded Egypt in
642 AD. Our men, even children are being killed and our women are being
raped by Islamic Extremists in Egypt and other parts of the world to
this day. We are proud Copts, the descendants of the Ancient Egyptians,
and proud followers of Christ.

Jimmy was a Church deacon (apsaltos ordination in 1984), very active in
youth service and a learned teacher of the Holy Bible at St. Mary & St.
Abraam Coptic Orthodox Church and elsewhere.
